G'day! We're Your Trend Scouts

We're a small team of proud Aussies on a mission to keep families informed about what's trending across our beautiful country - the fun, the quirky, and the downright fascinating.

Our Story

It all started when Sarah's teenage daughter mentioned she was "no cap" excited about some new slang. Sarah had no idea what that meant, but she knew she wanted to stay connected with what was happening in her kids' world.

After spending hours trying to decode various trends and memes, Sarah realised there had to be other Aussie parents feeling just as lost. That's when "Mate, What's Trending?" was born.

We're not trying to be the coolest kids on the block - we're just regular Aussie families who believe staying informed about trends helps us connect better with our communities and each other.

Our Mission

To create a safe, family-friendly space where Aussie families can stay informed about cultural trends without the noise, drama, or inappropriate content found elsewhere online.
